Live Subscribe Update.txt:
Tested with Windows XP Home & Professional only, I do not know if the instructio
n will
work for any other operating system
Open "My Computer" icon on your desktop,
if you do not have this icon, click on START then click My Computer.
Once the My Computer window is open, check to see if you have the ADDRESS bar op
en. To do this,
look just below the "Back" button, if you see the word "Address"
, then skip down to installation
instructions below. If you do NOT see the word Address, then
click on the "View" menu item (3rd one from left... File, Edit View)
Click on 1st option "Toolbars", then click on 2nd option "Addres
s Bar".
It should now have a check mark next to Address Bar.
Once the Address Bar is visable:
Installation Instructions:
Copy the line below:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\LiveSubscribe
Paste the line above into your address bar, this will open the Live Subscribe fo
lder.
Put the enclosed "Catalog.LiveSubscribe" attatchment into this folder, a
nswer "Yes" to overwrite
file inside.
Your done!
Your Norton Anti-Virus will now expire in the year 2013 !!
